Well, I must admit, I to am mad about the nerf, but I just wanted to ask, instead of beating the issue to death with complaints, why isn't everyone trying to find new ways to beat their marks? Has anyone tried this? Use an LLC to get them into a melee mode, use supression fire to get them down, start bleeding them, and then pound them until they get up? Then just use LLC, to get them back in melee, supression, etc. This method works for me and I'm a lowly BH (Carbine I, Pistol I&II). While my very basic meds skills make it easier, I'm sure you could do it without. Hell, with the proper use of supressionfire, I've solo'd acouple Giant Dune Kimo's at Kimo town. Granted it takes 20-25 minutes to get them to die, it can be done. Although I loved being able to spam Underhandshot, it does seem like this was more the way a BH would do it. Not sit and fire the samething over and over, tactically defeat your opponent. That's just my opinion...

Does a laser do more damage than an E11? I have an OK Laser-77 min,200 max damage, and I have about the same for my E11. Which is better?

there is no hard and fast rule.. but USUALLY a laser will have a higher max damage, but a lower min damage. The average damage may be a little higher.

A nicely sliced laser with a good powerup will always do more damage than an E11 I think. But it will shoot slower and has no armor piercing.

My Laser is like 75-425dmg, 5spd, mindcost=60, AP0 (I know.. its nothing special)
My E11 is like 150-225dmg, 3spd, mindcost=35, AP1

Its a trade off.. I get better consistency, AP1, and lower mind cost from the E11 so its my general purpose weapon. But when you pop a Headshot2 with even a crappy laser like mine for 2000dmg.. its a sweet thing.

Personally... I think that if you can get a nice T21 (which I dont have yet) and a nice E11, you wont need a laser. If you cant get either.. a laser will be your best friend.

Ok, I don't qualify for T21 yet, so I might just try using my laser again... thanks.

Ok, i'll play your game. You got a guy with a sword in your face at point blank range. Now, what do you think would allow yo to hit him easier? a 4 foot long sniper rifle or an 8 inch long pistol?

The rifle. It's kind of hard to block the sword with the pistol and using it to perform a buttstroke isn't nearly as effective.

But the real question is. How poorly trained was the sniper that they allowed the guy with the sword to get that close to begin with?

What Kind of sniper would be trying to block a Sword with his Rifle, in the first Place, wouldn't the sword Split the Rifle?

or i guess in star wars lingo.... a Lightsaber - we see them chop weapons in half (and cleave humans and etc etc etc)

but in most cases no one with a sword (other then a jedi) would ever in reality get near me as a rifleman... they would die far away from me!
