I have No problem with neutrals not being forced to pvp, but if your profession is reb or imp pilot you should be forced to face advisaries with advanced skills (players) The Ideal that someone can be a rebel ACE pilot and never once even go into combat with a real person should be embarrassing. Why do we even play MMORP's in the first place? We can easily chat with people over icq/aim and play some sort of single player game where we pwn the computer skills all day long.

If they advertised and created it that way from the start I would be fine, well I wouldn't play the game but I wouldn't complain, but the Devs as far back as 2001 said the game would be consentual PvP and stuck to it, they designed the game almost totally consentual as well so there is no basis for forcing PvP on rebs or imp. Also what about the vast majority of those who like being Imp or Reb but dont like PvP? I play MMO's to group with people not fight them and most other players here are like that too.

The is no "issue". There's still an open PvP zone, just go there.

Or you can play battlefront as multiplayer pvp where everyone agrees and likes to play PvP

Well in my oppinion there is absolutley no insentive to kill other players in that area other than 'just because'. If there was an in game insentive to kill other players in the area then the PVP there would have been totally acceptable and 'fun'. But quite honestly, PVPing in Kessle right now has one purpose, and that purpose is that individual's own 'bragging rights'. That's neat for you, the PVPer who wants to kill other players that may or may not want to participate, but they're forced to be there to complete the mission the game puts in front of them to master.
The honest truth here is that there are players out there that KNOW that the sole purpose of them being there is to stop other players from having fun. You guys will contest that fact, but the game enjoyment is your own and absolutely no one else's.
You want to compete againts other players, but the news is, 99% of the players don't want to compete againts you to have fun and 100% of you know it.

How is it so hard to believe, clearly the facts point to that. Every game that is pure or close to pure PvP, has a fraction of the subscribers, UO had PvP, when it changed to optional the subscriber base doubled. City of Heroes has ZERO PvP and it challenges SWG for subscribers and may get EQs numbers today before it's first year. If the ground game contributes to this data as I think it will then declared PvP will be almost non-exsistant, why? It isn't hard to declare, but it is because few people care about PvP, those that do yell load and are passionate, I commend that, but you are few as you will see.
If PvP was such the challenge and a huge number of players get bored with PvE, you'll see alot of declared PvPers in Kessel and I am wrong, but if not you have to admit you were wrong.

Iam very happy that Kessel is no longer a PvP zone and that I might do my mission the wayI want todo it when I hit master. My happiness for this makes you unhappy, that is kind of they way the bad PvPers (not all PvPers) made PvE players unhappy when they happily shot them down against their will. What you feel now, is what the PvE players felt about the Master mission in Kessel before.Learn from it...

ive learned its pretty lame im ovbviously an imp pilot in an imp ship and the idea that imps and rebs should only fight when its convient for everyone is pretty lame. I can understand the whole covert status of people on the ground but when your flying a freaking tie fighter killing x-wing rebels or destroying the Rebel Corvette its quite obvious that your an Imperial.

That is what you signed up for, it was made clear PvP was consentual, the Master mission broke that.
page 22 of the JTL book says PvP is optional, so now the game is what it was told it would be. You can declare and still PvP, there just isn't an easy access PvP zone for now.

The thing is you don't have to pvp in kessel, in ym grind to master never once did i encounter a pvp situation, it was only after when i dueled people or helping friends with the vette. (Which should have pvp with it because the actual fight is too easy as is)
