Of course that wasn't my tune on the Beta boards.

Look at all the posts that are being strewn about broken systems and bugs that are now just being poured in left and right.

People these bugs were active in Beta as well. I reported them. People reported them. I waved them up and down on the Beta boards and all the Devs said is "we'll look into it."

The only Dev posts have been in regards to Tech support or Tiggs wasting her time on stupid stuff, or the Sweden dude who's main priority it seems is to fix the game breaking issue of people not being able to receive their flight suits! /gasp

I have the feeling that the Devs must be playing another game, possibly Rogue Squadron or XwA, Wing Commander, all of those successful games.

Or the fact that it's not what we think is wrong with the game, it's what the Dev think is wrong with the game. Let me take in Combat Medic as an example.

People abused this profession for how long before the Dev's finally got tired of the nagging and eventually equaled it out somewhat? These are the same Devs that temporarily changed the Combat Medic Correspondent's title to "Whiner."

So how long will it be before the Devs shape up and start talking to us again as they tried to in Beta?

I hope this post is the "coffee-spilled-on-your-pants" sort of post that will scramble the Devs to their feet and actually do something about these problems.

If they are aware of these problems then I am glad but for god's sake at least TALK to us and tell us that you are aware instead of watching us play 20 questions.

But dont get me wrong. Apart from all the bugs, crashes, broken things the overall game works and it has only been out for barely 2 weeks but all im saying is that they should have taken Beta seriously and nailed these things out.

i dont think hes demanding perfection, hes Asking for the devs to work with the players so that we can get somewhere for our 50 cents a day or 14 bucks a month.

This is what we get. Some of us pleaded for the combat upgrade before JtL. This was why. Now we have two broken systems that need attention. And the devs only have the time and energy to work on one at a time. So now that the Combat Upgrade is being worked on, fixes and content additions that will be needed with space will be put on hold.

I'm not being a pessimist, I'm just stating the way it is.

Could just be me but I could have sworn TH said that they were not going to pull resources away from the ground game to work on the expansion.

Thunderheart said alot of things that turned out not to be true. Yes, he did state that at one point, but his bosses said otherwise. We should remember TH, while a nice guy, doesn't really have much pull. He doesn't run the show. If his bosses said "jump", he has to say "how high?"
