Thread: Help! Privateer stuck early on

Hello!
I have yet to to get my first skills box, but after surviving a bug I did a post about, have done my first three or so missions out of Mos Eisely for The Smugglers Alliance. Even got a cool bandoleir that holds (50) items. I have now been assigned the task of taking out the Ace of some pirates I think, Black Sun or something like that. Anyways, the spawn kicks out two regular pilots and the Ace. I usually take out one of the baddies, and then focus on the Ace. The other enemy just disappears for some reason. When I engage the Ace, he does not fight back. He just flys around and around, and regenerates his shields a lot. Unfortunately, every time I do this mission a player Tie fighter joins the battle hitting me as much as the Ace. Unless I choose PvP, especially when doing missions, a player should not be able to mess with me. Anyways, so I finally get the Ace down below 50% and everytime he bolts via a hyper jump. Is that normal or a bug? What can I do about it? Any help would greatly be appreciated. From all the posts, it looks like JTL has a lot of bugs. Help!
