Right - heregoes.
Day 1: Get in my first player crafted Z95 equipped with all cool looted parts (well most weren't cool, but I thought they were) and fly around shooting TIE's... this is brilliant.
Get to 1/1/1/1 and declare quite happily that I'm brilliant. Take a gunner in space. He throws up from motion sickness, calls me a crazy driver and then gets in his Z95. Group up with others to take out tier 3 TIE's in Yavin. Whoop and cheers from all in the group as we make it out scorched and laser scarred but alive. Take more guys out hunting the tier 4's in Dathomir. More loot and joy!
Help equip some new guys to JTL with a ships worth of components, get spammed with tells from all their mates asking for help too.. help them, loadsa ships and happy folk in shiny z95's (with lvl 3 certs)
Get to 2/2/1/1 and find missions are a little tougher. Log for the night.
Day 2: Start finding that I really don't p0wn in space, but this is OK, neither does everyone else, but I make a ton of friends grouping with them and taking on new missions... get stuck at 2/2/2/2 but win through finally as those friends that I made before help me since I've helped them. Yay! Potter round the ground game a while going jedi hunting.
Day 3: Tear hair out at inability to solo my first tier three mission. I'm uber l33t on the ground (ranger/rifleman uber ya know 
) why can't I be in space?? Remember friends and other people who I've seen, get group up together... couple of hours later and I'm in a shiny new X-Wing! Yay!!

Day 5: Spend hours hunting Merek only to find a wild spawn 300m from the Smuggler's outpost after spending five hours wandering Endor. Found a Master CH a baby webmaster though! Go into space, shoot TIE's, find group take down a tier 5 heavy cruiser! OMG 39k exp!!! Wow!
Day 6: Group up to get first tier 4 mission, now I'm getting daily calls from loads of people to go shoot stuff in space. Need to find another PC to go nuna hunting with! Fly A-Wing and beat a couple of people in duels! Whee!!! Get sworn at for making them dizzy while driving like a loon! Hop in guildies Sorosuub and try and enter Deep Space. Get turned down at the Space Station. Doh! Jump to Tat and use escape pod as it seems like a good idea! Log for the night.
Read posts and realise I'm looking forward to the Master mission, and I hope I can complete it before it gets moved. I'm thoroughly looking forward to teaming up with all the friends I've made so far to take on the might of the Empire (and I don't mean the NPC's) in Kessel!

Additional: I tried going to sleep tonight and failed... so I logged in and threw my baby around the void some more. Came across an Interceptor boshing Z95's and asked him if he fancied a duel. He said no. Fairs fair I think. Explained that I fancied something a little more challenging than flying in circles. He laughs at this point. Sure... zap kapow kaboom and kersplat! A-Wing still does the job beautifully. I salute him as he had some nifty moves, but tonightI had his six. Yay for non circular flying. Oooh.. and a little bit closer to 4/4/3/3. I'm going to bed now.

i wish i was on your server lol... havent really found anyone to fly with. i need toget together with some of my friends and go to the dath system or somethin and just go on a killing spree lol

THANK GOD! Someone who realizes the game is fun.people need to stop whining and complaining. i think next time i get on i'm gonna get some people to come to Deep Space or Kessel with me so i can get these million boxes. notice how i didn't go "WHAAAAAAAAA IT TAKES TOO MUCH XP TO GET THE BOX!! I HAVE TO INTERACT WITH PEOPLE!"

Very good, positive post.
Oh, and I tried that escape pod too. Except it crashed everyone in th eship to desktop. Oops?
