I'm curious if anyone knows what happened to this. I'm not finding any information on it anymore, and it was removed off the main page.

Here's my guess.
Either A: They thought you could actually PLAY it over a LAN, and then found out they were wrong. (Not likely, that would be pretty stupid)
B: Sony sued, or threatened them, about using their server, and showing the game around in that kind of public setting, where they might get negative publicity.
C: They realized that theres not really anything to do besides run around and grind now, since Kessel got the nerf bat on the way, and then the nerf bat got accelerated with a hotfix. (probably the likely one)

well, SWG has been the LAN party game before. I cant remember who it was but a rep for Lucas Arts or SoE was there also. Developers/Publishers usually give themcopies of the game as well as other promotional materials to give away to the audience also.
the correct answer would be D: None of the above

hehe... so... it was on the main page one day and gone the next, and this indicates they're trying to get us to ignore the fact that someone screwed up?
One thing I noticed that was funny, is that the dates on the page at G4TechTV's site don't match.
