What if as an incentive to declare overt you recieved 20% more experience per faction npc kill in addition to the ground faction points you get as an incentive now. Would this maybe get more people out there declaring overt in their day to day flying?
Personaly i like to do my missions overt on my imperial character for the Imperial faction points and the added tension of wondering when an overt rebel may stray by. I think more incentive to get this happening everywhere is a good thing.

That could be pretty cool.
After all, greater risk should equal greater reward.

Maybe 20% extra credits per kill too, that way the people of tiers that are xp capped would have an incentive to declare as well. Or... perhaps a blanket overt, that makes you open to attack from all other factions, so that the smugglers and other neuterals have a chance to participate as well. Kind of like a pvp on switch with a little bonus.

maybe you can cash in on "the equivalent of space fp" to buy Imperial/Rebel parts from a space recruiter. I wouldn't make them "very good" but I'd make it something worth buying for someone.

Sort of like the ground game FP weapons? Ill stick with LvL-1 parts then. But some Pilot faction perks would be nice. Black uniforms for the Imperials and Maybe a Nice Helmet for the rebs.But not too nice

They are standard ground faction points that you get now. I've gotten 20k over the last 2 days. Leveled in rank all the way to Warrant officer.

While that would be nice, what's the point of getting fp? That's not really much of an incentive atm.. heh..
EDIT: Oops read it wrong, hehe...
But don't we already gain exp pretty fast already? heh.

20% is to high soe will not go for it but;
5% exp bonus for starter professions.
10% exp bonus for elite professions.
I think this would be fair if you want the bonus go overt.
Note I do not PvP (I truly hate griefers) but more risk should get more reward.

There are no starter and elite professions... I am talking about space combat.

Problem with is it only works for those who need xp. For masters (which most will be soon) this would add no benifit. Personally I think it'd be cool if loot chances were better while overt.

Masters have deep space. This is a concept to get the average mid level player interested in declaring overt. I for one would love to see people of all levels fighting all over the place.
