Ouch... Just checked my 92.2 engine and it's lost half of it's condition in just a few days.
Yea decay rate is to high in space.... Not even close to what it is on the ground game.

Welcome to the best money sink the Devs could think up. With solo grouping going the way of the Dodo, only the billionaires (server ubercrafters or people who duped and just didn't get caught/banned) will be able to afford the "fun" stuff from now on.

Armor decay is bloody insane... a few deaths and you have no choice but swap out!

Deaths nothing, just getting it damaged is enough for decay as it loses condition after getting patched.

completely agree, loosing 200 hp from my ship at every repair. We dont have 50K hp ships.. those are "costy" things.

I do really feel sorry for new players anxious to grind shipwright because they're misconstruing the profession's current popularity as it'll be a LONG-TERM profession choice.
The bottom's going to drop out of the market soon (mostly when the vast majority of players won't want to spend so much on replacement parts/ships), and they'll have wasted millions in resources and funds for a profession that at the rate it's advancing, may soon be on-par with DE and Architect in crafting popularity.

I think its rediculas, like I said in another thread on the same subject....
You take your car into the shop to get fixed, when the mechanic is done does he tell you "Good as new"or "Well we fixed your carborator but it lost 10% of its condition"
Think about it
