Thread: Issues with missions interference from other mobs

I post this after buying my first hyperspace-capable ship, and then completing only one out of 5 missions, and I had to run from that one the first time too.
The issue is not that dissimilar from issues with the ground game, and that is getting jumped by other mobs while on your mission. The difference with space is, many of the missions move, and you don't have a choice as to how to get to your waypoint. You are often escorting something, and it when you are tier 2 and it chooses to fly near a tier 4 or 5 that aggroes you, you just have to call it quits and hyperspace out of there.
My complaint is that this happened to my FIVE TIMES OUT OF FIVE today. I still got some xp and money, but I only went back to complete one mission, my story arc mission. The duty missions I had to just abandon. Each time I would get a new one or retry it me and the buddy I was grouped with would get jumped by something unbeatable by us.
Now the reason I take issue with this is these teir 2 missions are sending us to Lok and Dantoonine and Yavin 4 (we are Tatooine Privateers). I don't know about space, but Lok and Yavin are planets I never set foot on until I was working on advanced professions.
So my proposal is this. For the tier 2 space missions, take them out of Lok and Yavin and Dant. Move them to Talus and Rori and Corellian and Naboo (for Tat pilot, still offworld so they have to have a hyperspace ship). Path the missions so there aren't any tier 3-5 mobs spawning along the path. I know things are going to occasionally go south, but 5 times outta 5 is a bit much, dontcha think?
And while you're at it, consider doing this type of fix for the ground too, I'm tired of my little faction base warping right next to Princess Leia's summer home....ain't no way I'm completing that with my combat skills.
