I just spent an hour doing this one mission, thinking it was done I hit the hyperspace button, only to see a message appear on the screen saying to go inspect a ship. Well you can't abort a hyperspace command. I went back to the trainer and got the horrifying news that the entire mission had to be redone. To top it off all the time I have been working at this mission (I was on my 8th try and had not gotten as far on my previous 7 tries) I have gotten zero experience, experience has been sitting at 200,000 for 3 days now.
Well the mission is not going to be redone, not until this mission design is fixed. When the mission system allows partial credit for completed parts of a mission, I will try space again. Until then I consider JTL broken and unplayable.
Funny I have played a lot of MMORPG's and stuck them out longer than most. I am going to wait for the combat revamp to see what they do with that, but this could be the shortest time I have played a MMORPG yet.
It is really a shame too, because except for the mission system, the JTL expansion is very well done. It could actually be very fun to play if the mission system is overhauled.

I've done that a few times myself. It's not a very good system thats for sure. What I do now thats helped some is I bring up my journal and see if there are any outstanding missions in it. If there's no subtext under anything then the mission is finished. That's helped me a few times when I wasn't really sure if the mission is over. Just a suggestion.
