I am both, and I like both. I am sure the dev.'s will give pvp something, just be a little paitent. Some thing needed to be done, and it was. Pvp'ers who blame Pve'er, are just plane wrong. It was the exploiters, the 'griefers', the ones that think it is perfectly good thing to cheat to win. Just let it go, something will be done, you should know that by now.

5 star post. Everybody just needs to calm down, stop making so many post on this, and just let things play out. There are at least 10 different threads goign about this issue, and this one is the only one worth reading. All i see in the other ones is the same people posting the same complaints over and over and over and over. All the complaints made the devs change it once, if complaints keep on whos to say they wont change it again.....to somethign nobody wants. Just let it go people, its done and over with.

Yes! this is a little off topic from your posts intent, but I still feel that a temp-guild should be put together to slaughter the griefers. If we as players handled this situation the griefers would get tired of dying (I draw this conclusion based on the fact that most griefers are not to keen on fair play) and either leave that style of play, or play the game in a more fair fashion.

They should just have this one npc that can make anybody in space attackable by anyone.
erm except same factions
so rebels would be open to imperial and neutral players
imperials would be open to rebel and neutral players
and neutral players would be open to all players

Good work Starson.
Add one more practical person to the list, it is about time that people start looking positively about this change... the developers aren't just going to "Destroy" something without a good enough reason, and if they do, they are bound to fix it in a better way in the end...
Five star post!

Sorry it's the whiners who cause 100% more damage to these games than griefers. Its people who have no desire to adapt to a situation but would rather cry to the devs rather than look to themselves for solutions. It's thecop out the easy way typical of these type of individuals. They complain of others forcing them to play a certain way yet have no problems forcing others to play in their style. Their answer is go overt and go to deep space and that pvpers should learn to deal. Funny how they react when told the same regarding their complaints. Oh well what can you do some people want to win at any cost.

Ive been arguing on so many threads, that I dont want to get into this one, except to say this to the original poster.
How is using an in game mechanic, engaging in a pvp zone a player, who KNEW the possiblity of engagement, cheating?
Hmmmmmmmmmmm?
Its not a cheat, its not an exploit, its just something you dont like.
Dont mislabel things because you dont agree with them, someone might think you support Dubya.

the point he was making was that PvP will be fixed in the future, patience is a virtue
as for not being a cheat or an exploit - it was not but waiting and killing people as they loadhas beenconsidered griefing for a long time in the ground game and doing this to keep people from acheiving master pilot was also griefing. They saw a problem and put in a quick fix until they can fix it permanently (read thunderhearts post - he did not say it was permanently like this) so that the majority of the players of JTL did not have to compete in a dynamic they did not want to do. being forced to pvp is not something everyone wants to do.
