This account has been verified with the FanClub for months and months now. I have another account that wasn't, so I'm familiar with the screen that comes up when you go to register for the beta.. When this account went to register, it didn't complain at all about my fan club registration. I went through the signup, it did it's system test, then brought me to the screen at the end saying that I've completed it. I got this email yesterday, and I registered for the beta the day the sign-upsbecame available.. (2 weeks ago?)

The exact subject of the email is: Star Wars Galaxies[R]: Jump to Lightspeed[TM] Beta Application: Step 1 complete

The body of the email (with a few edits to protect the URLs):

Welcome Dunixi,

Thank you for your interest in Star Wars Galaxies[R]: Jump To Lightspeed[TM] Beta.

The next step is to enter your top priority confirmation code.

Your code is:XXXXXXXX

Please go to the following Web page and enter this code in the space provided. You may be prompted to log in first, using the same Station Name as you used before.

Once your priority code has been successfully entered, you can continue with the Beta registration process.

Star Wars Galaxies Team
Sony Online Entertainment

So there it is. I click on the URL, and am taken to the Apache Tomcat error screen I first posted about.

This email I received says to go to a certain URL, put in this "top priority confirmation code". So I click the URL and it brings me to an Apache Tomcat/4.1.24 error screen that says:

type Status Report

message /xxxx_xxx/xxxxxxx_xxxx.jsp

description The requested resource (/xxxx_xxx/xxxxxxx_xxxx.jsp) is not available.

It's said this for over a day now. I've private messaged Garva, TH, posted in this forum, all with no answers.

Anyone have any clue what is up with this? I mean, it looks like my account was selected for the beta, but their page they send me to is either not there, or is locked down some how. *sigh*

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

I posted this before but my message got deleted without any explanation. This is driving me crazy.

Thanks

maybe you got the email too early, perhaps? A sort of glitch in the system? That would be the only thing that I could think of.

Beta Applications surely havent started yet (*crosses fingers*) so dunno why you would get it.

Did u goto fan fest?

Man, and people have the nerve to wonder why I dont think they can get the beta done in 2 months and ship in October

Web sites and stuff are pretty simple, if they are having issues doing a simple beta website, God help us when it comes to the shape the GAME is in.

I believe that I read somewhere that if you've never signed up for the Fan Club, you are asked via emailto go to a URL and enter a confirmation code. If I had to guess, the email you're getting is saying that you never were in the fan club and taking toa URL to completethe registration.

Would be nice if it's a beta confirmation. Can you show us the text of the email?

Maybe this is the confirmation email you get when you sign up for the Fan Club account. I don't think anyone is being selected for Beta untill August. Try posting a question in the thread Garva has setup specifically for email issues.

I am having the same problems. I get to the screen where you submit your system specs and when I clicksubmit the first time it just reloads the page and if I click it again I get the Apache error screen too.
