It doesnt ring any bells for me...but perhaps thats cuz ive ignored most of the expanded SW universe stuff out there.

Imperials dont like it...cuz they will start shooting it right alongside me....then turn on me once its popped. Its captain, com officer, whatever guy comes up in RIS armour i think.

Anyways, just curious. No matter what I think its probably buggy atm... has guns...just sems to have forgotten how to use em.

Go to dath....out near the imp stations.....hang around for a while cycling through all targets. This big Brown, almost trade federation looking thing will hyper in. For some incentive...it gives 38k xp...and could give a dman about you shooting it.

No one else here has seen this thing?

I know others in game have seen it. They have killed it with me. Im just wondering what it is in a SW context.

and i thought the "Executor" was the emperors flag ship

yes, the Emperors flagship is the executor. the super star destroyer, that crashes into the deathstar.

and i think there is only one SSD in the entire universe (not including JTL)

Technically, the Executor was Darth Vader's flagship given to him to hunt down the Rebel Alliance after they destroyed the first Death Star. It's the super-class Star Destroyer you see in Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Darth Vader's orignal ship in A New Hope was the Imperial Star Destroyer (Type 1) Avenger.

The Eclipse, if I remember right, was the name of the Star Destroyer the resurrected Emporer used in Dark Horse Comics stories. It had a super laser down the long axis, with 1/4 the power of the Death Star laser. It could crack the surface of a planet (and kill all life on the surface) but not blow it up.

There's also and Eclipse class cruiser, which is the one you see in Jump to Lightspeed.

I guess i need to redo the thread title. I am NOT talking about the ECLP ssd. I know what that thing is from the idiotic comic books. What I am asking about is the Dark Eclipse heavy Cruiser that spawns in Dath. Down near the imp stations. Big brown thing with wings in the front. About 300 m long id guess. Fly along dumb as nails and doesnt shoot back....but has multiple weps hardpoints to pop.

remember... SWG is set between "A New Hope" and "The Empire Strikes Back"... so if your lucky enough.. maybe you u will the SSD

Im starting to believe that this ship must just be some eventual content stuff. Its there...but perhaps the story isnt yet.

and oops...apparently there was onepost that discussed the ship I'm talking about. Is there a story to it I dont know about?
