I wonder if I should keep my Z-95 and upgrade it or if I should switch to Y-wing?
I am having problems with my y-wing cuz of its sucky speed and pitch/yaw acc..
I follow any advice i get, getting killed all the time

The Z and Y require very different approaches to flying.
I had a lot of trouble making the transistion from the Z to the Y... didn't help that I was stuck using basic components.
When you build a Y-Wing, ask a master shipwright to craft you an engine with extra attention to the roll, pitch and yaw.
Then when you're flying, the Y, use your throttle a lot... throttled back, you'll have more control.

I went to using a y-wing today at 1100 pilot. Fortunately I had a stash of nice equipment to put on this ship. You want to get an egine with over 50 in ypr stats. My engine hasypr values in the middle to upper 50's and the maneuverability of thethe ship is pretty good. Your throttle sweet spot for maneuvering is between 50% and 75% of max.
So farthat y-wing has been a lot of fun for me. I'm at 1110 right now and hoping that the y-wing will continue to do well for me on my way to 2211 when I can upgrade again to the longprobe andget the benefit of a second weapon without having to find a gunner.
Having a huge amount of mass available gives you the freedom to put in very heavy components. That's something you'll never be able to do with a Z-95.
