From what ive ben and understood im not to sure what side is still stronger...
i WAS a 3/3/3/2 imperial pilot , the ships i was able to use were swift but couldnt carry much of their stuff because of lack of mass ( i meen come on 40k for a tie interceptor? and the sluggish tie bomber? ) so then i became a rebel pilot " after 9 hours of grinding back my -5000 points " . im now 2/2/1/1 rebel pilot , loving my y-wing and y-wing longprobe " both are identicaly equipted i did it because some of my freinds enjoy being a gunner then a pilot
" anyway but now i would like to know what people LIKE about their proffession... yes for me imperial was fun , nobody can argue over engine overload and how nice it is for low powered ships , but the rebellion is just as equil in its abilitys it gets granted
p.s this is not to flame either faction , and for the record i was 3/3/2/3 privateer in beta

I vote Rebel mainly because of the ships. If I can't fly an X-Wing or a B-Wing, I ain't gonna be happy. Many people have suggested creating a new char on an alt server and following another path if you want to have more than 1...

TIE Fighters are where it's at. Imperial craft are just wicked looking, have the cool engine sounds... well except the Interceptor, unsure why they changed that. Nothing like wasting X-Wings and other rebel craft in a TIE.

My Interceptor takes 50k mass. And yeah the Bomber flies like a brick. But it is a bomber. I have a reb on another server Never did anything with him was to place a guild for a friend. may have to give it a go. But Im IMP hardcore. Al though the Y-Wing was prob one of my Fav ships i have when i was a kid. Other than my Imp Shuttle.
