Thread: Tier 2 Mission in CorSec is bugged, Dev attention requested

The tier 2 mission where you are asked to go to Lokian space and investigate a specific ship in order to take plans from it is not working. The specific ship is not spawning. I have been to the system at least a dozen different times and each time I spend nearly 20-30 mins searching around the waypoint for the ship. A guildmate of mine is stuck on the same mission and is having the same result. A prompt response would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

I thought it was just me since I couldnt find any posts on it.. tons of Nym fighters and bombers to be sure, and lots of asteroids.. but no capital ships

I was able to get that mission... but the next one is even worse. You are suppose to disable a Corsair ship so it can be taken over... and I've done the mission 3 times, disabling it every time, and just sit there and nothing happens. And each time, after 10+ mins... I go back to lok only to get the same mission again. So, how do you get past this one... anyone else having problems with it?

i'm having this problem too, there had better be a hot fix for this within the next 2 days, this is annoying.....i'm maxxed in skill and no way to learn another box

it's not bugged.. I've tried it again for the third time.. if other people say they've done it, I thought maybe I was looking for the wrong target..
maybe you, like me, were looking for capital ships or something that stands out from the standard fighters or bombers..
i targetted a Nym kimogila heavy fighter, got in close, and inspected it.. the itemI looking for was indeed in that ship.. i targetted the reactor (press ] to target reactor) and shot at it until it was disabled and not moving (don't destroy it!) then get close again and /dock and then your mission will be completed..
it was surprisingly simple.. only a bit unexpected, thats all =)

the other wy to get past that mission just take tie missions shoot them all till you have neough xp for the nexz level and then you get some train. and then you get the next mission from here that is what i did.

Completed it just before servers went down.
Found it, targetted the engines, disabled it, scanned it, docked with it. Then mission complete.
Very easy

Not bugged for me. There should be an updating waypoint to the ship.

well it sure as heck is bugged for me. Tried it 3 times. No ships. Just asteriods.
The neutral missions were bugged in beta and now in live too. Can you say
ANNOYED?? I knew you could.
DEVS- FIX THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found Nym's cannon ship a total of three times before I completed. Stupid me, I blew it up once, failure. Inspected it the second time, saw the message "you found the orders", hurried back to Coronet, mission failure. The last time I read everything and guess what I managed to complete it. You will have to fly around for a while until the ship spawns near the WP. It never spawned, for me, at the waypoint but always near. By the way I had to wait between 10 and 15 minutes for the spawn. Tip, match speed, inspect, dock (be prepared to disable engines) and then return. Good luck

Yeah.. I have problems on tier 2..
But not the 2nd mission.. The 3rd..
Go kill some of nyms thugs..
Yeah.. Easy to do.. SINCE THEY DONT SPAWN!
Had a friend with me.. Had him on follow.. He found plenty.. I found ZERO!
Did the devs do this on purpose? Arent we supposed to progress further than 2221?

There are 2 things they can do to make me and alot of my friends stay in game..
1: Fix this mission!
2: Gimme my speeder! I payed flamin $29.99 for JTL and $29.99 for shipping! Only to find out, they ONLY give the beta disc IF U COME TO STORE AND PREORDER!! (EB Games!)
So.. Im gonna stick around for another week.. If nuffin has happened... Well.. Im returning the JTL disc and cancelling my account!
