I agree. Great ship, just not enough mass to equip well enough to handle tier 2 and 3's.

Can't wait for the X-Wing

I'm 3 3 2 2 right now and my Y-Wing is doin great. You could prolly get through tier 2 with a z-95 though. Fun, cheap fighter to keep around.

I honestly love the Z-95 better. I used it up to and including when i got certified to use the long probe. I had a Seronian engine that was 68.9 speed and the thing just kicked serious butt. But i had to change over to the Long Probe so i could fit better shields and armor for the tougher long durration missions. But in my opinion the Z-95 is better then the Standard Y-wing, only from my style of flying.

Just curious if my assessment of the Z-95 versus Y-Wing is correct. The Y-Wing a good 2-person fighter if you have someone manning the turret, but the Z-95 is better for solo play. So, if I'm doing a mission or messing around solo, I should stick with my Z-95 until I can upgrade to an X-Wing?

Naw, you'll need to upgrade to a y-wing soon. Z-95 just doesnt have the mass. Also, i didnt think the turret was much of a help, as it just drained my capacitor faster. I fly a LongProbe, but i still love my z95
