Heres the story: ive been looking for a better sheild generator on naboo for a day, got bored with the search and decided to go into space to try and loot one. Well, i decide to shoot at a group of borvo mercs, teir 1s but there was a teir 2 in there too. Anyway, i takea few waves out and i notice that the teir 2s are getting thicker, "nothing i cant handle" i say to myself, and continue blowing things up
Then i notice on my radar, no less than 15 red dots & my rear sheilds at half power, i cycle through my targets, about 11 of the mercs are teir 2 and 3 at teir 3. By now im freakin out and trying to get away desperatly. knowing that the station is 11000 meters out, i had to act fast, i set myself to jump to the tatooine system. i tryed as best as i could to dodge the oncoming fire, but by the time the plan was at 75% my armor was torn to 1/4th strength. finally i was ready to jump, when something pops up that chills my blood. <<WARNING INCOMING MISSLE>> 5 seconds.... the missle was coming closer. 4 seconds.... i desparatly hit my alt weapon button. 3 seconds.... i curse myself for not installing that missle defense system. 2 seconds.... i go to 3rd person veiw, see a streak of blue coming at me. 1 second.... its gonna hit.....
i make the jump. i drop into miners yard, tatooine system. i laugh my head off
God i love this game

that's not fair, missiles hit me when I'm animating into hyperspace, lol.
but i'm glad you're having fun almost dieing, oh, there is so much fun in living.

Great story Hybrid 
Some of the most fun I've had has been in similar situations. Finding I'm in over my head, then dodging and flying my butt off trying to hyperspace out. Yesterday I found a group of fellow NPC Rebels taking on some NPC Imps. I thought, awesome, I'll join the fray. LOL, well, all the TIEs decided to gang up on me, and my fellow NPC Rebs weren't too helpful. They got through my shields and armor pretty quick. I knew if I tried to Hyperspace, I'd be a sitting duck for those 5 secs. So with a combination of spiraling away and boosting, I was able to out-distance the dozen TIEs on my six. But not before they blew out 75% of my reactor and engines. They lost interest in me, and so I was left to limp 10k to the nearest Space station, traveling at a measly top speed of 94. Heh, I kept thinking about Han Solo trying to engage his Hyperdrive, but it malfuctioned, so he's forced to fly sub-light to Bespin. That's what if felt like

Heh. I had something like that go down the other day. I'm only 0110, so go figure how well I'm set. 
Me and my little Scyk were out smashing Tier 1s in the Tatooine System on one of those duty missions. Sometimes I'd get some Tier 2s and even a Tier 3. Well, I was having fun and suddenly noticed that my shields were, well... going away. Rapidly. Turns out I'd drug the fight into another group of baddies and they were just a bit more than I could handle.
I'm bobbing and weaving, and doing my level best to get the hell out of there. My shields regen and vanish every few seconds, my armor disappears- although it took them a while. Then it got interesting. I'd run and then turn and blow one of them up, and run some more. My rear armor was totally hosed, and finally one of them hit me with a missile. My weapon is gone, my boosters are gone, my engines are at something like 25% of normal speed, the eject button is screaming...
"Not today..." I said to myself. So I just went at top speed (200 or so) out of there, dodging enough fire for my shields to keep the worst out of my internals... I got about 3K from the space station and realized this wasn't gonna work, so I hit the hyperspace button. But by then they were crawling up my tailpipe and I had lost even more systems. My ship must have looked like a bomb had gone off inside it. I'm still rolling, dodging and trying to avoid any more damage, when my shields go. Now I'm totally hosed. I keep dodging... 75%.... then the countdown starts. And a missile alarm. I just put it into a rolling dive and waited to see if I won the lottery.
The missile must have missed me by an inch. It took nearly half an hour to fly to the space station at about 150, dodging everything red along the way.

I have a similiar story.
My friend and I were killing nyms averaging level 3. They were a good challenge but as long as we can keep them off each others back we'd be okay. Well, my friend and I got seperated and they disabled his engines and he had to 'eject'. After making it back to the spacestation he made the jump to hyperspace to the Coreilia system. Well, now I was alone with 3 nyms on my butt. I would attack 1 but the others would attack my rear shields, which are weak. Well, I figured screw this.....I can't take all 3 and my shields were almost out and hits were starting to take its toll on my armor so I boosted out of there but they boosted with me.
. I figured great, so I began the calculations to hyperspace, taking a beating as the comptuer took its sweet ole time. Well, I'm still alive by the time it hits the countdown and by then I have doubts whether I'm going to make it. My shields are gone, weapons disabled.....engines still going...thats hte imporant thing. Countdown...5.....4.....3....they all swarmed but the timer is still going....2...I figured yess I'm going to make it...it says 1....and I blew up The end

had this one happen...
dodging tier 3/4 shots and noticing more and more comming i try my best... but shields gone ..armor 50% and droping i'm thinking calculation time...

tier 4 hunting around danthomir nat station.... was 2 tier4s and than in sec .piit pit pit pit red dots and i found my self in red dots sea in 2 sec ( and when i changed my target it was tier5) ..pressed h for tatoine ...%25 eject...coudnt see %50
