Ok ive seen other post on this, and ive tried this mission about 6 times now. I get to the point where i have to inspect the pirates for some codes i need, the waypoint spawns Tier 5 Scyks, and the other Tier 3 fighters. Ive scanned close to 200 ships all together on my 6 mission attempts, NOTHING AT ALL!!!! Ive tried inspecting them before i disable, after i disable, tried docking before inspecting, i find nothing. And i know people have gotten past this, so im asking if anybody call tell me what they did, or what i need to do to get past this crap.

I have the same question, though I have only tried the mission a few times.

Just keep scanning. What might be easier is take 1 or 2 other people with you. When you get out there do not attack anything at all. Let your buddies rip off a few shots to get them aggro's on them. Fly around and just scan every ship. Sooner or later (later for you it seems) you will get a system message stating it has the information (note: it will be a system message and bold white letters) then disable the ship (this should be the first time you are attacking anything) dock with it and you done with that part of it. Now I am not sure which squad you are on (I had to do this in Endor space) this is just the first part of many in this one mission. If you are doing this in Dantoonie space I think this is all you need to complete (I helped a friend last night with his in Dant., mine was in Endor).

You know what's really going to get you is if you complete this first leg of your mission and get all the way to the end and somehow mess up ... You get to start all over again.
Ok it seems at first your hunting for a needle in a haystack but I think the odds are more in our favor then that.
So, what you need to do is disable a ship, fly close to it and inspect it.
When you find the one your looking for you get a message saying so and it also tells you to dock with it.
Which means you can ignore all others and blow them up after you inspect them.

I know what to do. The problem is none of the ships i inspect have it.

I believe you don't have to Inspect your target in that mission. Most likely you have to DOCK with the white-squared ship (trottle 0% and type /dock or press U by default) and after some seconds, you'll have the documents in your ship, after that, you should deliver those bits to another ship (a rebel one I think) in another sector.
Good luck and I admire your patiente... 6 times!! wow.

Of course... you have to DOCK again in order to deliver the data
Good luck again!

There is no specific target, its just a bunch of random pirates that spawn. And as i stated before, ive inspected every single one i can and attempted to dock with them all.

When you find one hit Iff scramble, it will keep the others off of you while you dock. Works great.

Yeah, find the one called Blacklight PIRATE! He's the only one you have to find.
