For the rebel Pilot, in space repair how does it work? I call the the repair ship. it shows up but nothing happens!!!, I tried giving the command again, inspecting, docking, targeting then communicate (\) no use!! Is it a bug? or am I doing something wrong here? I was told it was working fine in Beta...

Giving the command again when the repair ship comes to a halt should be the way to trigger it. Was in beta anyhow.
Now, that command is not worth it though. It's much better to just head to a space station to repair (and much cheaper too!).

It works this way:
You call it:
It arrives.
It "checks your damage"
A system message tells you what your repair will cost and that if you wantthe repair that you have to trigger the repair call again.
It actually repairs around 10-15% of your damage and now the difference to beta: It costs almost nothing any more.
Actual repairs are around 20-50 credits.
After it flew away you have to wait some time and then you can repeat.
And now for the use of that command:
In some systems Spacestations only repair your ship up to 75%.
And if you are in a mission you might fail in leaving the system.
So I let the rest of the damage be fixed by the space repair.
Also very useful in duty missions between the waves if you get somewhat damaged.

Oh, heh... That's good to hear, much better than the 100000 multiplier they had to the cost there.
