Thread: Cannot Unequipt Ship to Redeed bug.

I just recently gave up master freelancer to try out rebel. I had a Ship still fully equipted. Now that I have given up my freelancer skill is says I cannot manage that ship. I also cannot redeed it because there are still components on it.
The only way I would be able to get rid of it would be to destroy the ship. Now I would be ok with that but I have some really sweet looted components on that bird. I would say the compenents are worth easily 750k-1mill credits.
Does anyone know how I could get the crap off that ship or am I doomed because the Developers though no one would ever change sides?

Is it possible to sell the current deed (withcomponents installed)from the datapad to another "trustworthy" player who may be neutral? Have them deinstall the equipment and trade them back to you. I'm not sure if it's possible... just throwing it out as a possible solution.

Nope cannot trade a ship with compenents, I tried to trade it to Master Freelancer. We were standing right next to the startship terminal also, and still no luck.
BTW I have reported this bug in game, just posted here to see if anyone has found a workaround for the issue.

I have this problem too. I even was able to remove the equipment but ship wont redeed.
