I don't have JTL yet but i'm getting it soon. Although there is one question that's bugging me. Where do you go when you die? Do you loose anything? do you apear on a planet? is there a cloning station in space?

I haven't died yet but from what my friend's tell me... you do clone... you do suffer wounds and BF if you didn't store your clone data, and your ship will need to be repaired (either by space station or repair kit.)

Corrections welcome of course.

When you "die", you "clone" back to the nearest space station with disabled ship components, and you character will have wounds and fatigue. Through the station, you will be able to repair your ship.

Yeah, it will cost however much damage you have. It usually isn't too much, though. The most expencive repair I've had so far was a little over 3k.

You ship decays an insane amount when you "clone" then again when you repair it, killing the fun in taking on hard stuff once you do master because your spending all your cash on replacement ships every few days.

Ship chassis should have less decay or at least a higher base.
