i bought a painting kit for my ship but i cant figure out how to use it

I don't know, but I'd suggest trying it while your at a starship terminal in the starport.

Yes you can. You can also set textures which willdraw predetermineddisigns on your ship.

You paint your ship with a ship paint kit and texture it with a texture kit. Both are crafted by shipwrights.
The paint kit works just like the vehicle customization kit, lettin you pick colors.
The texture kit (there are six of them) applies a preset texture to the craft, usually (at least for rebels) altering the seconardy color pattern.
