Thread: Can Tie Figther use missiles and countermeasures?

A player crafted TIE Fighter will take missiles or countermeasureson board but not both due to mass, as i have been using missiles on a player crafted TIE Fighter. It was only lvl 1 proton missiles but they do give you an added weapon when fighting a harder target.

Well I bought a player crafted tie fighter. And what missiles or measures should I buy? that I can use

First thing to do is fit the main items on board you need i.e. gun, engine, reactor, shields, armour, droid interface, weapons capacitor as these are the main items you require. Once you have done this look at the mass you have left and your certs in the ctrl s for the pilot skill tree then see what missiles you can use on your ship.I think a player made tie allowing for mass and your skills will take any lvl 1 proton missile pack or lvl1 chaff pack, this is mainly down to mass as by time the main items are in there isnt much left. Also be careful of the power requirements as well as this can also stop you using any missiles or counter measures if they draw too much power.
