Thread: Ideas for the TIE Aggressor.

For those who have used the TIE Aggressor you may know what I am about to talk about. We all know its a 2 Player Ship and one I like,but there are major issues with the back turrets. Here is a list of suggestions/fixes I think need to be done.


1.) Allow for the back turret to have a slight auto tracking system to help the passenger better follow the target.

2.) Make the weapon for the back gun not allow guns that cannot be used correctly and cause bugged graphics along with odd issues with the passenger.

3.) Make it so that if your passenger has a mission it shows up for the driver as well.

4.) If you have 3+ more people in your group before you launch your TIE Aggr in space,Make it so you can sellect the person in the group you wish to ride.



These are my ideas and suggestions. I am sure others might have ideas and even more so for other ships.

I know many may not have used the TIE Aggressor and may not relate to it. I am guessing this post would be better if I posted it a couple more weeks from now. Please Devs if you read this post please address these requests. Thanks for your time

Damn. .I dont mean Basicly Follow the Target but rather have some auto sensor to keep you steady... Like Helecopters have for Camera's, This would be for the Back Turrets.No need for you to be a rude ass. If I ever meet you....I'll Ctrl+Alt+Delete you.

the auto track suggestion is for the person in the back have you tried targeting while someone else is flying the aggressor try it then you will become enlightened

i think a sort of auto tracking which compensates the moving of the own ship might be a big help. Have to get into a gunner seat yet, but from other games this is the most difficult part of gunning...

Yes Yes.... Thats exactly what I mean I would never in a lifetime want The Gun to Autotrack the Target. .. LOL thats insane. But rather a way to keep you Steady... Anyone who has used any Mutlipassenger ship knows what Im talking about.

i have played many, many simulations, and i know how damn hard, how impossible such a tracking would be.

however, i have never seen anyone asking for such 'reparations' in any game's forum or simulation community.

it is a matter of skill. and this is all there is to that.

Never Played much as you say then. Almost every And im talkin 25 or so Mods.Games ive done PR/CS that had a Turrent/Gunner position have had Posts like this.

Now Being you hve Played and Been such a intrigal part of the final product Im sure you also know that the Netcode and Systems involved with Said Code would not impossable just unpractical. IE Expensive.
