#1. Well, I was just thinking, now that multiplayer ships take lots, which is 1 lot. We know that's equivelant to a small house, now this is a simple proposal, some may like it, some may hate it, butit could be a work around for those who are bascially devoted to living in their yacht.
Now, since 1 lot = 75 items. Could there be an option to raise the item limit, but raise the lot count too.
1= 75.
2(or 3, can't really remember)= 100
Etc.
If you want more items, that means you need to use more lots, just like you'd do with a house on the ground game.
Although, this is a simple workaround, it could be unfair to those who hold a guild hall or those who use many factories/harvesters.
#2. Another workaround could beto use this rewardsystem that is broken(I guess, everyone gets the same 180 days), so at certain membership day threshholds, your Yacht is granted a higher item limit(hoping to god you don't have to create a new one). This might be a better reward system instead of using lots. Only problem is, besides it being a better reward for older vets, the devs still have the problem with the whole data thing.
That's all.
Thoughts?

ide like to see that idea of giving more lots for more storage space, but on all multipassenger ships.

Yeah, that'd be good too, was just using the yacht example because of proposal #2.

The idea of houses (ships now)taking one slot per 75 items you drop into have been there for soo long that I feel old...
The devs/designers neveracknowledged this idea
So this might be too difficult to do cause we all know it would reduce the database size.
I know I would be the first to delete my 4 houses to replace them by one, only.
Edit *** : slot usage would have to be (items / 75) rounded up = slot usage.
All crafters won't delete houses if they only get200 for3 slots when then can have225 using one small house and one medium

Another "easy" tweak would be to remove/raise the cap on resources stock piles.
On the same idea a difficult path would be to create a new skill to let players combine and experiement ressources of the same kind.
Allowing players to buy only spare items from vendors crates/stockpile resourceswould help also
Making bazaar able to browse through the whole players vendors with a search/filter function would help also and level the economy galaxy wide.
For crafters an easy tweak would be to remove/raise the limit of crates size
Anywayyouridea is good, pretty sure all players would /sign this feature.
All is in the Dev/Designers camp...

The only small house using 1 lot and holding 75 items is the Nabooian Small House, BTW. All Mediums and other smalls use 2 lots and hold 150 items.
That would be nice, as long as they don't exceed the 250 item limit. (Or the Large House/Guild Hall Limit was increased.)
