Thread: JTL most welcomed... gave me grouping for mish back!

I just love JTL its SO nice not to be able to solo everything... now we have to group up and do, what MMORPG was ment to be, play together!!
I think its so nice, some ppl dont like the fact that the are not able to solo everything, but i think they sould get a FPS game or something like that! MMORPG is ment to be a social event!
I just hope combat pub will bring grouping back to ground play as well!!
I would also like to hear other ppl's version of the "forced" grouping!!
But THX dev and soe for bringing back some group play!

i agree wholeheartedly, people don't realize that group combat is essential and necessary in flight... any flight, from star wars to modern combat jets.

yeah.. i have been enjoying the last days with playing with my guildfriends, and doing mish together... just like when i started a year ago and did naff, and squill mish from bestine and coronet

I agree, I did my 2nd and 3rd tier 3missions solo, big mistake...I did it, but it toookkkk forever. I also wanted to see if they were soloable, they are if you have the patient to play for a hour or more on one mission.

i tried my tier 3 mission 2 with a group... the first guy didn't communicate, died and got pissed and left. the next guys i grouped with decided to fight everything instead of helping me out and got me killed.
GOD I LOVE GROUPING IN JTL!!

As a solo player mostly, I must concur. Why would a solo player agree you ask (or you didn't)? Seeing groups of people doing things improves immersion for me. Everyone running around by themselves feels really empty to me. Though I do socialize, as a solo player I mainly play MMORPGs for the 'live' feeling I experience in these games. Single player games feel dead to me the same way a MMOG feels dead if everything can be accomplished solo.
As long as solo play remains fun (unlike EQ after 45 level or so), I don't need to have access to all content.

i like to do things solo, yes, but grouping with some guildies was pretty fun to . Im not opposed to grouping in any way.
What i AM opposed to is the forced PvP in Kessel. But thats in a different thread. But grouping can be pretty fun if you have the right people. Like as is stands my guild is also now RPing is space by giving our "space squadron" a name. So if you group with friends its just plain awsome. Some people actually take second looks at the organization. Kinda cool to see a whole bunch of ships flying in formation to missions.....
