Thread: Any plan to change PvP damage from one shot kills to something like PvE?

Just wondering if anybody has any info on this. Right now battles are really fast and it doesn't take much skill in maneuvering since it's whoever gets the first shot wins.

With a Hoershel-Kessel "Scorcher- Heavy" with 2687 max damage and .632 on shields and armor, using Weapon overload 2 (I'm only 3322 Storm squadron), and emergency weapons I can 1 hit tier 3 b-wings, and kill tier 3 x-wings in 3-4 shots, so who's to say someone flying a master level ship, with tier 8-9 componets, and level 6 droid commands, couldn't 1 hit kill a player.....

With those specs, there isn't a player character out there that could stand up to that after two or three direct hits. Your weapons would completely destroy any master out there in only two or three hits.


All I'm wanting is longer PvP battles like they are during PvE.

Oh, I'm all for a reduction inPvP damage,I don't think it should be 75%, maybe more like 25-50%, dogfight are supposed to be quick and violent.

i hope they introduce a damage reduction of something like 75% and give multipassenger ships something like a +30% to armor and shields. theyre big and beefy, they shouldnt have the durability of a starfighter, or almost anyways.

This issue is one that needs some attention. Ship to ship PvP should be totally fun. It needs some tweaking mmm badly.

75% damage reduction

Fix the bug that causes PC fire to bypass armor and sheilds (if its even a bug at all)

Extend the fighting for all.

We as players are not mooks and should not be killed like mooks without a chance to react.
