OK I can kill the "Hero" and his escort on Endor ok but then youare sent on Patrol and at the third leg of the patrol 4 Tier 4 TIE Adv and Oppressors spawn. The problem is is that I have tried this mission 4 times and each time the final Patrol WP is on top of a static Tier 4 TIE spawn.
So now I am fighting 8-10 ships half of which are static spawn so they just respawn! Anyone else able to beat this mission? If so did you have a static spawn where your WP was?

ya, what i did was boost away from all em, then i killed the ones i had to for the mission after the non-mission teir 4s gave up on me, but i died later on in the next part, tho ive only tried once.

I had difficulaties as well.... but it could be done. About the fourth try i just made sure to steer clear of any tier 4 ties on my way in, only to get jumped by some tier 4 z95's during my fight. I wasnt sure they were really shooting at me till i had knocked off most of my targets. at that point i knew i was a dead man. I kept on killing my ties. Once all of em were dead i got a complete mission....and blown out of space about ten seconds later. I went back to yavin to start all over...only to find that Lt. Col Hard A$$ told me not to talk to him till id completed my mission. The last part of the mission is similar to the rest. Though i didnt have any trouble with tier 4's at all.
Anyway, bit of a ramble, but i'd suggest just trying to weave your way in. If you DO get jumped, ignore the 4's and kill your targets.

my main issue is that the tier 4 non mission guys have been literally right on top of my WP. I can kill my mission guys but the added trouble is just to much. If they didnt respawn I might have a chance but static spawns during your mission, especially once you get up to tier 3 guys, is just horrible.

I just wish the Devs could do something about this... Simple change the spawn positon of the tier 4s so that they don't interfere with the mission or allow you some escorts to help you out. I seem to remember having lots of help in XWA...
