Thread: Crashing every time I engage in Space combat

The update today seems to have broken JTL. Every time, and I mean EVERY time I enter a battle, i crash to the desktop. It happens whenever i try to use a keyboard command, such as ctl-i for inventory to see what I looted, or HOME to go up to full speed. 7 times i ran to dant rebel base to get a patrol mission. 7 times it crashed just as I was starting the mission. That is an entire evening of wasted time. Please fix this.
Anyone else expirienceing this?

I had this problem before the patch. What i did was a full file scan in the launchpad. But i did notice the graphics were alot more crisp after this patch. So check your video card, not that its a problem with your stuff knowing SOE and all. Check your latest drivers, come to think of it i havnt updated mine but mine still working so best not mess with it till its broke. Wish there was more i could add.

i did all sorts of things..put my video card to its original clock..turned off bump mapping..turned off fast writes in my bios..turned down the graphics..i havnt crashed since...and i used to crash with high activity and many npc's trying to talk to me via that vid screen at the same time

really really peeved about this because I cant get any xp or play at all. Am I the only one? and full scan does nothing to fix.

tried all sorts of different settings with the vid card. no luck yet.

anyone know if you can turn that damn vid screen off? How useless is that anyway?
