Find at least one Person you fly well with & stick with them. You will need each others help alot more as you progress.
Or
Don't worry about the Experience Requirements, just go out there have fun & you will have the Experience in no time, just have fun.

- When in lag, turns off the cockpit view.
- The N key is your best friend
- Remember to spend some time in the key map window to re-map all of your function keys
That's all I have for now,

Actually I learned that I think you must be rebel to become a rebel pilot and imp to be an imp pilot. Some people are asking this question so heres the answer. When I first started my beta guy I got some money from the wonderful blue frog that gave me all the money I wanted and then I went and slaped some imps. This brought my imp standing to -100 and when I tried to talk to the imperial space recruiter he wouldnt talk to me. I suppose this is due to my negative imp standing. I am personally going to go with freelancer or neutral because all the ships are brand new and they havent been shown in any movies and stuff. The last thing I learned is that blue frogs can be very addictive and I counted them while trying to fall asleep last night instead of sheep. I dreamed about them also and they are constantly in my mind... I love blue frogs!

If you value your sanity, do NOT start Rebel pilot training on Naboo - doing the 2nd row missions on Dantooine is absolute madness.

get a good joystick and spend as much time as you need to map out the keys before you start flying missions

I second that tip
Also, make sure your weapon groups (G) are set when you launch into space each time you re-adjust your ship configuration

If you hear a buzzing sound when you shoot at and hit a red dot spaceship, it's part of someone else's mission.

Don't be afraid to ask a few people to group with you to complete a mission. Many missions will be very hard to do solo, and odds are, there are plenty of other players who are in the same situation as you are. Ask for help and offer help, since you're all on the same boat
