At the moment im 4433 smuggler alliance pilot. I have decent stuff, so i can go and grind at Kessel. A few times ive been out there with my rebel friends to do the vette. I am rebel on the ground. However, as a neutral pilot, I can 'TEF'd' to both imperials, rebels, and neutral players. So, I catch friendly fire from my fellow rebels when im in a group. It seems that neutrals in the PvP zones might be at more of a disadvantage then either side. I wouldnt mind having to choose a side, that way I can be protected from friendly fire when im in a group helping friends out. I think for the sake of neutrals in PvP i dont think I should have to eject because I got shot by my own group mate. I dont know if this is an actual issue or if its ment to be this way...

If people can shoot members of their own group then I think something needs to be changed. Although, I should also say that when I'm flying missions in group I try to always watch my fire and also try to not block my group member's fire.

Every time this has happened it was against the vette, so the group was 10+ people. And with PvP damage being so high, its hard to take one hit and still be effective afterward. I would just like to see it so i can go with my rebel buddies to a PvP zone and not worry about getting killed by my own groupmates.

I am privateer as well, but my ground faction is imperial. It would be nice if when you go to a pvp zone you could set your faction affiliation when you enter the zone. Really the only 2 factions should be Rebel or Imperial. Since we are sort of mercenaries anyway.

I like the way it is set up. I think a FreeLancer should be TEF by all. Think about it. You are a FreeLancer which means you have no alliance to anyone therefore a threat to all. I am also glad to see that they put friendly fire in. It adds an additional element to play around with. Remember you can kill your wingman, your wingman can kill you, but can you get your enemies to kill each other.

But it still doesn't make it ok to kill other Imperials now does it

Your ground profession doesn't matter. If you're Rebel on the ground but Freelance in space, than Rebels can kill youat Kessel. Even if you're doing the Master mission FOR the Rebellion.

It's a little screwy.
