I am really disappointed with Jump to Light Speed, there is absolutely nothing to do once you reach master (just like the ground game). This game really isn't fun for me any longer. I have been playing since the game was released, this game had so much potential, but the devs don't listen to the customers, not the mention this game has the worst customer support ever and treats paying customers like crap. I am sick and tired of the same old things happening over and over.

I have therefore canceled my account today and /wave goodbye. I was expecting JTL to save this game, but it has fell short of my expectations. I was accepted into WoW open beta last week and have noticed that WoW is a much better game. I am acctually having tons of fun playing WoW, something the SWG hasn't given me for almost a year now. Not to mention that the devsin WoW listento whatthe playerssay and the customer service are respectful to you (and acctually know how to play the game). I have given SWG chance after chance and they have squabled time and time again.

Bye guys, the only reason this game is still alive is because of the players, you guys are the community. Not the devs. Not the admins. Not the service reps.

(Betting 2 cr that this post will be deleted)

PS: For those tired of the same oldcrap inSWG you should try WoW, its a great and refreshing game.

Too bad that WoW isn't an option for many of us who are beyond sick of the swords-and-sorcery crap.

I might consider reactivating my City of Heroes account, next time I get tired of SWG to where I need a break. Doesn't look like anything is coming down the pike for someone like me. I've thought about Matrix Online, but I have a bad feeling that's gonna suck.

bye bye.

I did not become Ace in 2 days, so not become a fast consumer. If you fast consume everything, no game can please you.

Of course the WoW dev team are listening close to the players. The game isn't even released yet. Give them time, when the game is released youc can be neglected to your heart's content. Same thing happened with D2 so I'm sure Blizzard won't change this with a heavier load.

Matrix online sucks, I am in the beta.

Diablo didn't have a monthly fee so they eventually had to cut down onserver upkeep and customer service because of limited revenue. SWG is a monthly fee game, there should be no excuse for bad customer service and devs that don't give a crap. So far WoW devs listen, when they stop listening to the customerand the game becomes like this one is when I will cancel WoW aswell. But so far WoW is a great game.

You need to admit, SOE has a historyof bad customer service and devs that really don't care what theconsumer wants. Blizzard has a track record of greatclassics like StarCraft, WarCraft, and Diablo.

I lost interest in Warcraft after WC2. Didn't even play WC3. Have no desire to play a MMO based on it, no matter what the rabid fans say about Blizzard. Played Diablo 2, and that was pretty much the last time I could stomach anything based on the fantasy/medieval-type settings. I tried FFXI for a month or two on one of the times I got really sick of SWG, but the setting of FFXI made me sick to my stomach. EQ, EQ2, AC, AC2, DAoC, UO, WoW, FFXI, Horizons, Lineage 1 and 2, Saga of Ryzom, (although that's supposedly a little bit tech mixed in) all those type games are out of the question for me. Earth and Beyond was my first MMO after making the leap from MUDs to the monthly-subscription stuff.. and probably still my favorite of all the MMOGs I've played.. but EA is worse than SOE when it comes to running MMOs, so now E&B is shut down.

Once I quit SWG, if something else doesn't come along that's sci-fi and appealing to me, I'm probably done with MMOs for awhile. Star Trek Online is going to suck because it's being done by ex-EA people, and they're horrible with MMOs. AO hasn't drawn me back to it, nor has Jumpgate. Auto Assault MIGHT be amusing for a little while, but I mostly had my fill of that back in the days of Car Wars pen-and-paper stuff. City of Heroes needs a little more content before I'll return.. but otherwise was a refreshing change from these games.
