Do any of you know of any command like.. /setspeed 50% or something like that? Because my craft turns best at around 30% speed, and turns well with still nice speed at around 90%, and then of course 100% is nice..

But at the moment to get behind someone in a dogfight I have to press end and turn and press home to 100% speed while I'm coming out of the turn or else I'll go to slow and it screws it all up..

I think the way they did it in planetside would be awesome for this game.. Press 1 for 10%, 2 for 20%, 6 for 60%, and so on- considering I don't use any of those keys for shooting or anything..

I'm not asking them to be made like that by default, but it would just be nice to have those bindable, or at the very least commands like that that I can bind myself through macros.

You guys did it in the other game and it's very helpful, so I dunno why it wasn't put in this game where it's like three times as useful..

And please let me know if there is a command like this ingame, thanks.

(Sorry for my clunky typing.. I dunno why I'm typing so weirdly right now Hopefully it's understandable, heh)

That's actually another thing.. Because of lack of this people without joysticks have a bit of an advantage

use /throttle (0.00 -1.00) so that 0.00 is no engine to 1.00 being full throttle

Awesomeness! Thank you, that's absolutely perfect. Time to macro em up and bind 'em.

lol i'd rather use the mouse than a joy stick and if you wana change your speed and not stall/floor it you use the arow keys up increases speed down reduces i rarly use home and end only time i use end is if im at the starport and wana stop on the spot.

Well to each his own.. I jhave a Saitek X45.. With all it's buttons and hats I don;t even have to touch the keyboard in a fight. I can change targets, speed, weapons and all kinds of stuff without having to type anything. But then I am a flightsim guy and flying s fighter with a mouse just feels wrong

Well, when you're dogfighting they get really close and you have to lower your speed as quickly as you can to turn around and slip behind them.. So it's hard to monitor how low you are making your speed, and if you make it too low you'll turn slower and stuff.. It's nicer to have just one button you press that sets you at max turnspeed and stuff.

kalaf i have a sidewinder stick i tryed it but due to the fact i never played a flight sim before this and mainly played fps games i love my mouse but im sure if i got into flight sims enough i could probly learn to love a joystick gues its just what your use to.
