Thread: Ship Textures and Colors, How do they work?

Ok i bought ship textures, stlye 1 to 8.. i tried a few on my yacht... but i do not see a visible difference... what do textures change anyway? Does anyone have more info on this, specifically what changes for which style texture kit?

The textures work on non-imperial ships. On the Yacht however, I don't think the textures and colors really do much. I painted my yacht and I think I saw one sliver of the color at the top front of the ship. There are a couple of posts floating around that has pictures of the different textures for the rebel and freelance ships.

yeah Firday feature has some pics of ships with color.. but texture im interested what it does... especially on a yacht... anyone notice any differences when using textures on a yacht?

Textures 5 ang 6 make the most difference on the Yacht. Texture 1 is the blank default. I think it was 3 that allowed me to change a few lines on it.6 changes the front and the engines and allows the most visible colour.
Apply a texture from 2-6 and preview different paint colours and u can see what is being changed.

To notice a difference paint it first use black/red or yellow/black so you can see the different textures and note there are only 6 textures.
