I have a slight problem, i need to get a hyperdrive unit or whatever you call it but i dont have enough money to move up from my current starter ship, a Z95. I was wondering if there was a way where i could buy another Z95 anbd just upgrade it with one, or if there is no way i could do that andI'll just have to grind it out?

You could buy another Z-95 and equip it with loot and other equipment, but I don't know how much the chassis will cost you.

Ok, they just cost 6k so it wouldnt be tooo bad, but I can equip it with a hyperdrive right?

Actually you need to bu yteh chassie for around 6k on bazaar, then you get it "registered" or pay for it again for 10k with the Chassie broker. (I think it is around 10k)

Then you add an Engine and a Reactor then you can use it in space

If you have a looted engineand reactor you cna install then it will cost about 16k total.

Hyperdrives automatically come with all player made ships.
