I waisted my time destroying that ship piece by piece only for a measlly 100k prestige points. I could have made 500k prestige points with the time I spent taking down the Star Destoryer. I find this a real gip. I wanted a Badge, or at least some loot.

According to George, all the events that appear in the Expanded Universe - comics, novels, games - did not actually happen in the Star Wars galaxy, but are only additional tales that provide "what if" scenarios and events.

Many people hate George Lucas for this, since even though he personally approves all Expanded Universe material, markets it under LucasFilm, LucasBooks, LucasArts, and profits greatly from it, he still says it is not canon.

And to reply to your question about Prestige points it is the xp you receive after you master pilot. Used in getting into deep space
