I really don't mind having to work for my kills but as of the last time I logged on I couldn't do squat for damage on NPC ships. Yeah every now and then one of my hits will do 15% dmg on a ship but by the time I get another hit to score more damage their shields have regenerated.

Now don't get me wrong here...its one thing if I wasn't actually scoring hits, but I hit on a regular basis and really not doing anything to them. Plus, when you have 2 or 3 other enemy NPC's popping you on a regular basis and jacking you up while you chase another down seems a bit unfair. When the game first came out I could dog fight 3 NPC's and win, took alot of damage mind you, but I could at least have a chance of succeeding in my missions. Right now I can't even play my privateer and complete the very first patrol mission. Have done the Imperial missions up to the point where I am doing duty missions on another character, but since this bug started I can even complete those anymore. Nothing wrong with dying in a dogfight, but I would LOVE to be able to at least have fighting chance.

So, bottomline is...I paid for a broken expansion. Sure, I got 2 new playable races and what not, but I want to do space stuff too along with ground stuff, but can't. I feel a tad cheated right now because of this.

Use the lead inicator to aim were the ship will be, you can aim at the target and see the hit GFX but it's a actual miss.

If you are fighting multiple npc's us R when they hit you and manuver out of the way.

The expansion is not broken, needs some polishing in areas but hardly broken...

I use the lead target indicator...I hit the ship quite often just don't do diddly for damage and to answer the first person's question...the ships I am referring to are the ones for MY mission. Not someone elses. Take my duty mission as an imp...first wave is about 2 or 3 ships. I get on one and go after it...while I am plugging the hell out of him I might score a 15% dmg to his shields...by the time I get another acknowledged hit their shields have regenned. All the while his buddies are jacking me up pretty good. Its pointless to even try to continue with them. I was enjoying myself royally until about a week ago when this started. Don't want the game dumbed down just want to be able to do stuff in space and at least be able to defend myself.
