If you try to do this solo, i dont think you will ever manage it..The 4 waves you need to shoot are impossible for me, and after wasting 1.5 hours i got a nice system message saying i failed because it took to long..I gave up and deleted 3-3-2-2 to go to black epsilon...If you manage this alone you should get the Ace title without going true tier4

i don't really remember each individual part. if you are having trouble with the waves launch a decoy bomber strike one of the ships, it will take some of the heat off you.
other than that, 2 people should be able to go through this pretty easy, i never failed this one. describe each part, maybe i'll remember some other hints.

the first three waves i have no problem... it the fourth. they just keep comming. i can destroy them all, but as soon as i kill the last one four more show up. this is making me insane... as much time as it takes to this mission, why should i HAVE TO waste more loking for a group.
and before you flame me on not wanting to group... come to eclipseand group with me.

think about it this way, it seems you have to destroy waves quickly. i believe the instructions were to fight ferociously so they think the target you are protecting is important.
you can try a bomber strike (do you have bomber strike yet? or is this the mission to get it?)
you can try the mission over and over again until you pass. what is going to take more time, spamming in endor looking for help? sending /tells to random people looking for help? offering to help someone else in exchange for help? or countless hours trying to solo? if time is really the detriment to finding a group, and not something else, then what takes more time?
let me assure you though, you'll be repeating more than a few missions without help. tier 4 has some easy missions, and some really hard ones.
if you decide solo, then i suggest getting a missle launcher and don't use any missles till you get to that last part. if you have overcharge, use it. use 1 missle per ship until you are out. remember you turn quickest with the throttle at 80%ish, don't turn at full speed. without help you are simply going to have to kill things faster, so you should just be looking at ways to make yourself more efficient. eweapons is a few seconds of death, use that if you can.

What I like to do is, avoid waypoints in between the steps in missions and travel to the nearest starbase. Do a full repair, and then continue to the next waypoint.
This usually works unless it is an escort mission.
If your mission is inbetween you and the starbase, just fly down for a while and then fly back up and an angle. You should still avoid the waypoint.
