So, every ship has a chassis point value, and every time you die, your chassis value decreases right? So when you get to 0 what happens? Can you get to 0 or is it 1? I am confused because the stickied FAQ above says "You can not destroy your ship unless you delete it from the datapad". What does chassis mean then? When my chassis is 1 or 0 do I lose my ship? Or do I blow up from getting shot once? Why do I spend 500k on a ship chassis blueprint, buy a chassis from the blueprints, yet not get a copy of my blueprints back so that later, when my actual ship chassis is too low, I can go get another one with my blueprints???
I have not seen this discussed anywhere so I have to ask. Last night I lost 600 chassis from one death so it began to really concern me.

Nope, that just means that after you lose your shields and armor in battle, your chassis cannot take any hits.

Haha, that's a good question.

same reason a blueprint takes up as much space as a crate of food. =p
