Thread: Too Easy Black Eplison Tier 4 Misson

I know what you mean. I got all 4 tier 3 boxes last Saturday morning in what seemed like just a couple hours. The only difficult ship I've encountered so far working on my tier 4 boxes are tie aggressors. They just seem to be hitting me 100% of the time. Whether I'm infront of them or behind them. That rear gun is nasty.

LOL...yeah, I did that one a few days ago. I was paranoid for a minute or so waiting for something really bad to happen. Since we have to grind the xp I'm kinda glad they arent so long.
The next mission of course is the sole Nova Courier one. And the final mission I needed a group of five to take down after seven tries with a friend.
For those who don't know, BE's final Tier 3 entails:
1. Fly to and disable a Nova Courier (which nicely doesn't turn or roll, making getting underneath and knocking out the turrets easy) and destroy its escorts.
2. Escort said Nova Courier to a preset location, fending off the ambushes.
3. Fly to ANOTHER Nova Courier with escorts, this time killing everything that moves. Only this time the Nova is a twister and shaker, making NOT being exposed to the turret extremely difficult.
4. Finally, your last task in the Tier is to destroy a Tier 4 Assault Gunboat with Tier 3 Escorts. Sounds easy, right? PvE-spawned gunboats just fly around and let you shoot them, right? Well, NOT THIS ONE. This one is extremely quick on the uptake with an aggressive AI and lethal turrets - it doesn't fly in straight lines, it COMES AFTER YOUR ASS. Even with the group of five on the attempt that finally proved successful, the Ace that came along for the ride was damaged and others (including myself) had lost a large portion of our armor...that's how tough this Queen's Gunboat is.
Tier 3 is the "grouping" tier while "Tier 4" just culminates all you were supposed to have learned in the past three tiers. The Master mission can be half soloed, and half mass-grouped.

They may have changed the Courier in number 1. When I did this one I was expecting it to fly straight...it didnt, it turned on me.

When I did this one I was expecting it to fly straight...it didnt, it turned on me.
Well, I just meant that it (for the most part) flies straight and level. It's easy to get underneath, and if you have a good enough weapon, knock out the turrets before dealing with the escorts.
