I haven't seen anyone else post about this, so I will do it. Publish 10 has several new badges listed, including ones for the pilot and shipwright professions. They are listed as follows:

Prof crafting starfighter engineer
Prof crafting shipwright
Prof pilot rebel navy naboo
Prof pilot rebel navy corellia
Prof pilot rebel navy tatooine
Prof pilot imperial navy naboo

That's very interesting, thanks. I wonder if this means there will be "qualifications" needed for each system?

Very cool info. The only thing I wonder about is if people will complain that the badge reveals their faction. Back during the Cries of Aldaran, many asked for the verbage of the badges to be changed because it revealed that you were an imperial or rebel. I think they may have actually changed it.

What about the Imperial badge of merit and the rebel badge of honor. Dont think they changed those. Anyway faction badges dont put a TEF on your character so theyre really harmless

Plus some of us Badge collectors have Both the Imperial and Rebels badges so its not a problem

Little question about the space Badges can you tell me where and how do I get those ! and do they show up in my charcter history ??

from what i've seen, you can ge the badges associated with the planet you choose to base yourself from. Each faction has 3 planetary trainers, with their own seperate quest track, so you can get them all by resigning and re-grinding up the profession 3 times (ugh).

George Lucas says (love it or hate it) that only the Star Wars movies are truly canon - that is, that only the movies offer the true story of what happened in the Star Wars galaxy. According to George, all the events that appear in the Expanded Universe - comics, novels, games - did not actually happen in the Star Wars galaxy, but are only additional tales that provide "what if" scenarios and events.

Many people hate George Lucas for this, since even though he personally approves all Expanded Universe material, markets it under LucasFilm, LucasBooks, LucasArts, and profits greatly from it, he still says it is not canon.
