Thread: Ideas to Help JTL Become Better

Post em' if you got em'. And I know we all do.
Here are mine.
1. integration with ground game in way of loot
2. 1 pvp sector isnt enough for a massive online game. How about, and know this is drastic,several sectors for each faction that are safe zones (could and should be story based). In this safe zone newer pilots would run missions and there would be chances for decent pve. But 3/5s of space should be open to pvp I think. It doesnt make sense for my x wing to be fighting ties and for a imperial pilot to come across me and say, oops, cant fight attack him cuase hes not overt. Thats just poor development in my mind. Really this issue should be addressed.
3. Kinda tied in with #3, theres not enough to do once I master. I can fly through normal sectors and look at tier 2 ships, or maybe find a the rare tier 4 that arent worth fighting becuase of spawn times (kill em, wait 3-5 mins, kill em again, NOT fast paced the way jtl should be). Theres only 2 high end areas atm, i find this short sighted as soon almost everyone will be master wondering why so much of space is not being utilized.
4. Think about changeing decay. Id like to see.
looted parts not decay in hp, but cost significantly more to fix (help swg with the deflation devs are trying to do)
crafted parts decay and cost about the same to fix (gotta keep crafters in buisness)
5. Let me do duty missions after ive mastered ( i flew around in deepspace for 20 mins today to find 0pvpers and 2 ties, not fun)
6. I personally dont see value in making deepspace cost "prestige" points. Maybe devs have some reason why they need a prestige sink, I cant figure it out.
7. Of course, itd be nice to be able to have more ships in datapad. 1 of each type in the datapad would be nice if you could swing it.
8. My biggest issue is I guess is what to do once ive mastered, theres very very little atm.
Im sure JTL will have way more going on for masters in 4-5 months, just dont know if i wanna wait that long.

yea to be honest, im not holding my breath. jtl was fun for a bit though, and i do think itll get better- just probably be to little to late.

yes This i like. But i think one of each is a bit much. make it 5 like the other stuff, and the MP ship shouldnt count as we already give up 1 lot. Great post.
