The rear gun on the TIE Aggressor is good, i had somone in mine last night. I think its only fair that the rear gunner should be able to look, or shoot below as well as above. Right now its 220 degrees above the ship. Its a very limited area to fire at considering the vastness of space, in order to be effective that gun needs to be able to rotate below as well, able to fire at ships under me.

i think its good as it is. you want top n bottom turrets, go get a decimatorr

I like it 2, just want it to be more fun for the gunner thats all. I dont see any reason why not do allow that.

I don't think it should change. It's not that hard for you to manuver so he can get the target isnt it?

they would have to do the same for the Y-Wing than since it has a turret as well.
if it could shoot above and below it would have more defense than any ship out there...
just use a decimator or the Nova curier (rebs)

o ya i can manuover for him, its kinda hard because of the viewing angle on some apporaches but i can keep him shooting at somthing but we hardly ever are attacking 2 different ships. Its difficult to get into a Position that i can fire on a ship as well as him at the same time, any suggestions?

It's the pilot's responsibility, in that case, to put the targets in front of the gunner. From my limited experience in JtL so far, I have noticed that most people neglect rolling (either because they lack the joystick control or are playing on a mouse and find it inconvenient). Personally, my stick twists to affect the roll of my ship. I use it very often as is just to line up my shots with the shapes of my targets. But rolling to put said targets within the cone of fire for the gunner is just another thing to consider as a pilot, really.

Im saying this would make it easier for us to attack 2 different targets a once. I can keep him shooting at somthing but then im usually not shooting at anything. 2 ppl in a ship, with 2 different guns, we should be able to pull that off more often.

Well, if you look where the turret is located it would be not very logical to be able to shoot below your ship.
The turret sits on top of the tail. And to shoot downwards you would very inconviniently shoot into your own"butt" 
Same with the Y-Wing where the turret is on the roof of the cabin.

I've got one member of my guild who is a natural in the back seat of my Aggressor. We make a killer team. However, 90% of my guild can't get the hang of being in the back seat with me because I fly fast and wild. It becomes a matter of teamwork if the gunner only has a limited firing arc. I have to keep the ship turned so that the firing bubble is exposed to as many targets at a time as possible. Please DON'T change it as the limited arc creates a greater dependency on teamwork between pilot and gunner. However! Please consider creating a new ship that has a different turret location with a 180 degree bubble mounted on the rear of the spacecraft allowing true REAR defenses instead of topside defense.
