Thread: Ebgames lying to its customers about the In game Gift

I preordered JTL through ebgames website and choose a in store pickup. When I picked up the game I was told the I would be emailed the ingame gift code. I waited a week and called ebgames and they told me it sould be there in a few days... Guess what it wasnt there so I called them back and every time I was told it would be there tomorrow. I called them today and now Im being told to contact Lucas Arts to get this resolved.
Who else did not recieve there speeder code that bought JTL from Ebgames?

I got mine before release by spamming the store as the bonus CDs came in. I found out later that the store didn't really know what the discs were for so they threw them out when they werent picked up by release day. Either Lucasarts did a bad job of telling EBGames what the discs meant (doubt it) or EBGames didn't bother telling it's store managers what they were distributing.

I actually ordered online too late to get the preorder gift.
Then a couple days later they sent me an email that they ahd extra codes and I would get the gift anyway!
Two days after JTL arrived I received my code via email and I got the gift.
So EB did a great job with me. I'm sorry that others have had trouble. I know how frustrating it can be when orders get all screwed up.

I pre-ordered from an EB store and had no problem.
Pre-orders came in a box that looks like the live box with 1 exception - across the top of the box it reads;
PRE-ORDER ONLY
EB store called day they got it 18 Oct iirc.
