You don't want PVP fine, you don't have to, but then, you give up on the Master Pilot. It's simple risk vs reward. If you want the MP - take the risk and do the mission.

talking points from a PvPer:

1. PvP is a challenge

2. PvP is fun

3. No one will camp or gank, they will be too busy.

4. Ace pilot should have to be the best (That is assuming that PvP is a mark of success).

5. Shut up that's why.

6. Quit whinning and just play it our way.

7. MMOs are about community, and blowing each other up is community. (My favorite)

8. You should have to group anyway. (Like someone could solo this mission anyway, maybe this is my favorite).

9. You don't have to Master pilot.

so your number 5,6,9 ok.

NO ONE, NOWHERE EVER said Master pilots where supposed to be are intended to be rare, where did you get this idea? SOE stateted that they WANT EVERYONE to master pilot, and goto deep space, if they wanted Master pilots rare they would not have made the profession a freebie for EVERYONE to take. And last but I know not for the last time YOU HAVE TO GROUP ANYWAY to do the master mission, this is about SOE saying this is a consentual PvP game, but forcing anyone who chooses master to be forced into a PvP zone without consent, you want master you must be willing to PvP, that isn't consent.

THIS IS ABOUT FORCED PVP ONLY!

Where did I say to shut up? I hink it's whining from people that think they deserve to be handed everything on a silver platter. If I were SOE, I would make the entire game, not just certains areas, PVP, once you gain over 400 faction points with a particular faction, you are fair game to any players in the opposite faction.

Let me remind you, you are playing in the Star Wars universe. The Rebels and Imperials do not get along. They are at war.

And it's quite easy not to get involved in that case - just don't do missions for either side...

Back to the original point - You are not forced to PVP. You can choose not to, and accept that you cannot be a master pilot. This isn't some god given right you deserve. You want to be a master pilot? No problem - just take the trip and do the mission. A lot of people have done it, and also said they ran into little or no PVP.

Ok I'll be simple show me how to get Master, I want to be a Master Pilot, but I do not want to EVER PvP, tell me how to do that. I am a PvEer I do not want to PvP, but I do want Master Pilot, how is that done, without having to be forced to PvP, tell me genius how do I Master Pilot without PvP?

Tell me 1 good reason why it should stay in a pvp zone? You love to ruin other people's mission right?

Show mehow SOE is forcing you to be a master pilot to play this game?? If you can show me that, then you have a case that you are being forced to PvP.AllSOE said was that you are not forcedto PvP.. which is a prettybroad and general statement. My interpretationbeingthat it's not open season on yourA$$any time anywhere, which is how it should be if you're a faction pilot.

If you want to be technical, SOE could make the game like UO was.. where you can be attacked anywhere outside of the major cities and still be in compliance with the no forced PvP policy. Yes, you will not be forced to PvP... as long as you stay within the confines of the cities.

Lastly.. are you being forced to play this game too? Why don't you do us all a favour and quit if it's so terrible.

I've had it with this response show me where I said I am being forced to get Master, one quote from me?

You are not being forced to Master Pilot, you are encouraged to. You are as a condition of persuring Master Pilot forced to enter a PvP zone, normally this is by choice but for Master pilot it is required. You are forced to consent to PvP if you want to persure Master Pilot that is the issue being forced to compromise your play style for one skill box. If you are Morally opposed to PvP but want the MP ships for group play you are forced by that desire to set aside your morals, do PvP because it is required to.

No one is forcing you to play the game don't be silly your trying to spin this to make those who HATE PvP look stupid and your not getting your facts straight as everyone who keep plugging this "you don't have to Master Pilot" crap. the forced choice is PvP which is require (No choice). So in this Consentual PvP game you MUST, be REQUIRED to PvP in order to choose Master Pilot you get no choice after you take the Master Pilot Mission.

Also to note for you mentally challenged the write up of the Mission does not tell you that taking the Mission means you consent to PvP, only when you zone into Kessel does it tell you.

Ok so why are you against taking the Master mission out of Kessel? you seem to agree here that there are problems, but why screw up the PvP zone? Let folks camp the zone in but take the Master mission out, ALL other missions are in PvE space, the MP ships are not PvP ships we all know they suck in that role, B-Wings and Opressor do to so why have the mission to qual for them there when we KNOW and YOU told us that it will and is happenning. The best solution is to move the mission to Dathomir or Endor make it PvE and not nerf the PvPers or the PvEers, you can PvP at 1000 to Master, so no problem on that end PvPers can PvP at will, anytime. PvEers can PvE only Novice to 4444 but not Master. Only one side has to sacrifice, only one. PvPers don't mind, so no risk or reward they were not already willing to take and do. PvEers risk their very principles of group play no PvP as their form of interaction.

Ban the forced PvP, even more simple.

If it's broken don't do anything? Well mr. expert when is it time to do something? Consentual PvP is why the master mission should be moved nothing else. I don't mind the fast paced PvP, but I do mind that I was told we'd have consentual PvP, then realized that wasn't true, which that is the issue, dance and spin it all you want but we're talking about consentual PvP and nothing else

See, your mistake here is that you define getting the Master Pilot as something you deserve. I am no where near it, but just because it exists does not make it my right to be one.

You don't want PVP fine, you don't have to, but then, you give up on the Master Pilot. It's simple risk vs reward. If you want the MP - take the risk and do the mission.

So the few kiddies with no life/jobwho had the time to make Ace BEFORE there was anyone else in Kessel to grief THEM have the right to ruin it for the rest of us.

Nice logic, buddy.

Get a clue.

You just don't get it do you? You are exactly right.. "you get no choice after you take the Master Pilot Mission". But you DO HAVE THE CHOICE to take the master pilot mission don't you? That's your choice you dumA$$!!It is not required to play JTL.

Show me where SOE states that everything in the gamewill beachievable without PvP. SHOW ME?? If you can.. you've made your case.

Many things in life require us do things we don't like in order to get what we want. But we have the choice to choooooose what we want in the first place. You argument has no validity.

Ohh you dont HAVE to log into the game, you dont HAVE to give 15 dollars a month, you dont HAVE to eat, sleep, or live. I got an idea, use more dumb logic in everything you do. No one is forcing you to live on, but you choose to! So that clearly means you have no right to complain or be given a fair shot, since its all yoru choice in the first place.

A little less on the stupid, a little more on the shut up please.
