As for the upgradable part, I suspect it might be. If not then it's more power to buy the Yt-1300/and or other multi passenger ships.

We'll have to wait and see

That's my hope as well.

It might shape up to be a rather decent ship, but I suspect it will never be "the best". That luxury (no pun intended)goes to player-made ships, with their good resources and experimentation.

can we maybe not forget that this is a RPG and NOT all about fighting?

even if the yacht is a maybe just a pleasure ship, it would be nice to have and decorate it.

anyways i would like to enjoy traveling in space without always fighting.

like take dancers with you and have party in space isnt sounding bad to me

I really hope they let us upgrade it, even if the components are really expensive. As a smuggler I really want to tool around in this thing making some cash in style.
