Last time I checked your ship getting blown to pieces was the end of that ship in real life. Not getting "towed" to a space station where you can have it repaired fully for a fraction of the price you purchased it for. Let's complain about that lack of realism too.

Oh oh... and ejecting... honestly how long do you think you could last in space? Ejecting was their to save your ship from being damaged more then it already was. It saves you quite a bit of money later on.

That's a matter of opinion. Your chassis and components decay everytime they are damaged/destroyed. By going down with the ship, you are weakening your ship for future battles and costing yourself more money for repairs just to save a little time healing. Me? I'd much rather eject and spend some extra time healing up before I go out adventuring on the planets than have to replace all my gear every couple weeks...

Giv eupthe ground game and stay 1000 bfand fully black barred, that way it doesn't matter =p. Look on the bright side at least you cant get dotted up on the ground lol.
