They Changed it due to griefers in the loadzone. PLAIN AND SIMPLE. Done blame the PVE. Blame the PVP players who Abused it!!!! Yes your own type of Players ruined it and forced the change. Not to mention all you master pilots were able to grind before the whole griefer thing could take hold. Congrats you have no life and lots of free time. But get over it. Its done and you only didit to yourselves!

For those pvp'er still whining about not getting your own way to gank other players, WHY NOT GO TO PLANETSIDE where it is fully PVP there. You have ground troops, tanks, aircraft to fly and maybe space fighters. Go there instead.Leave us PVE'ers along.
Um, yeah, you could go play EQ2 which doesn't have PvP or CoH which doesn't have PvP. These types of games a made for people who only love PvE and well this argument you present goes both ways. It isn't going anywhere so I ain't going to argue with you about it.
Most importantly, I am not fighting for PvP or PvE here, I am fighting and yelling because guess what, we just lost another part of the game. They say they are going to rework the idea and fix it and reimplement it? They said this about, jedi, combat, and Multiple professoins. This seems to be a reworking theme in this game and that is what I am pissed about. Let's implement something we know won't work in the long term, take the whole system back, say we are working on it, and implement something maybe better maybe worse in a few months or half a year. Remember /citywarn, yeah they are still working on that problem, in the mean time the whole militia concept is useless unless your city is being overrun by creatures, which is impossible according to the coding of spawns.

1. you should have to pvp to master
2. it's not fair to take a way a pvp area, find an alternative
3. it's not fair to take away a pvp area, but i'm glad they are doing it, because griefing sucks
4. it's not fair to take away a pvp area, calm down it will be fixed
5. good
6. i hate you, griefer
7. why do you want to grief me?
8. anyone who pvp load kills
9. i hate load killing, i want to load kill you
10. i want my YT
so your rational arguement is 1 of 10. i hope they do make changes, i really do and if they include another feature that supports a contested, central point to pvp for all players, i'll stop caring about kessel. i'll lament the ease at which the master box is obtained, but so what?

Exactly
But also blame the imbalance in PVP where people are one shot kills because the grievers just wat for you to get engaged with a few tier 5's and jump you.
If balance was corrected kessel would just be the same as running a factoin mission on the ground. You are TEF'd and if an overt comes he can attack you. The difference is on the ground your armor and buffs will protect you for that first shot while you are engaged with the NPC's. Not so in space.
There will not be as much of a resistance to it being a mixed zone once pvp is balanced and the exloids plugged up

We have now changed Kessel’s rule set and removed it from being a full PVP zone. In order to PVP in Kessel you will have to visit a faction station in a near by zone and declare.

According to the above, PvP was not/is not being"removed" from the zone.
Rather, those that like/want to PvP can CHOOSE to "visit a faction station in a near by zone and declare", no?
So, what exactly is the gripe? PvP isn't being removed; it's neing made into a CHOICE. If you like it, you get to play it against others that also chose it. What is wrong with that? Why is choice bad? Wouldn't you prefer to PvP against willing participants? Or no?
Cheers,
Martek
No such thing as a neutral declaration. (And don't say pick a side. If I wanted to pick a side, I wouldn't be a smuggler.)
Kessel allowed it, now it doesn't.

So you'll accept the game as it was intended and realize the Devs experiment in forced PvP was a failure, good we can move on with our lives then.

Why was that one-star worthy??
