DOH!!
I signed up as RSF, but I'm a Rebel. In order to help my fellow Rebs, I'd have to drop Privateer and re-signup as a Corsec or Smugglers Alliance? Start all over?? I don't know what I should do now. I'm 2232.
Master first, get your nice gear and badge, drop it and use your double-exp master bonus to get back up as a CorSec.
Nice!
I understand getting the nice gear and badge, but what's the "double-exp master bonus" exactly? And, is there an advantage of going Corsec over Smugglers Alliance?

CorSec is strictly Rebel-aligned, so you can't attack other rebels. In Smuggler's Alliance, there is no side, so you can attack both imps and rebs.
So it's up to you to decide how loyal to the rebels you are, or if you're more of a neutral smuggler, such as me. ![]()

Ok... I'm confused now. I started out on Tattooine, flying missions for the fella in the Cantina. I've since left Tattooine and gone back to Corellia, and am flying for CorSec.
So am I considered SA or CorSec?
You are CorSec. In the conversation with Gil Burton (the Mon Cal in the Bestine Hotel) you are given the option to go RSF, CorSec, or Smuggler's Alliance.
I believe both CorSec and SA start out with Dravis in the cantina in Mos Eisley, then split off from there.
Any confirmations on this?

No, You don't have to Drop Freelance, in order to help your fellow Rebels.
It's really simple. Be grouped with your Reb friends, If your a Rebel. Fly to the Rebel Space Station and Declare. Your all set. I know this works because we did the same thing with a friend who's Imp. and a Freelance pilot and he came out and flew with us all. 1 Dunelizard among like 10 Ties.
Have Fun and good luck.
100% sure. I can attack Imp and Reb NPC's. And I am aCorsec Privateer also.

Ok, let's clear this up. i don't know why the CSR didn't explain this.
RSF Privateer is imperial-oriented and can shoot down Rebels, but not Imperials.
CorSec Privateer is rebel-oriented and can shoot down Imperials, but not rebels.
Smuggler's Alliance Privateer is truly neutral and can shoot down both rebels and imperials.
I am in Smuggler's Alliance.
I'm CorSec, and I can attack both rebels and imps.
Interesting. I was talking to an RSF guildie, and they say that all imperial ships (besides the ones in the missions) were all white (unattackable).
Are you sure that rebel NPC's (again, not the ones in your missions) are attackable?
